Italian jewelry brand RFMAS Faraone Mennella was co-founded by designers Roberto Faraone Mennella and Amedeo Scognamiglio. Roberto Faraone Mennella, Roberto Faraone Mennella, grew up on the Eighteenth Family Estate at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. He learned to appreciate beauty and fine art from his grandmother Stella. She encouraged and inspired Roberto to pursue a career in design. He continued the tradition of five generations and was responsible for managing the legacy and new venture of the Falawne-Menella estate.
Amedeo Scognamiglio At the age of 14, Amedeo studied the art of sculptural reliefs at his father's company M+M SCOGNAMIGLIO, an artistic tradition that dates back to the early 19th century, in his hometown of Torre de Greco.
At the age of 29, Amedeo and his childhood friend Roberto Faraone Mennella launched RFMAS's boutique jewelry collection Faraone Mennella, one of the world's most famous luxury brands.
In 2006, AMEDEO, a fashionable Upper East Side boutique in New York, opened dedicated to showcasing the designer's unique designs. Soon after, it opened in Capri, Italy. The designer's modern collection of this traditional craft has been exhibited in the world's most iconic boutiques such as Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys, Neiman Marcus, DoverStreetMarket, Harrods, LuisaViaRoma and Online on Net-a-porter and ModaOperandi.
To celebrate their first 10 years in the world of luxury, the two designers conceived their own portraits of muses through the lens of Italian fashion photographer Lorenzo Bringheli, whose style inspired and influenced a decade of exquisite jewelry and exquisite craftsmanship.
