It is reported that Park Tae-hwan was infected by contact with volleyball player Kim Yoo-han when recording the variety show "Unity Can Kick 2", and the judo player Yoo Dong-sik and South Korea's national treasure model Han Hye-jin who participated in the show were also infected.
As Park Tae-hwan will star in JTBC's new variety show "Unity Can Kick 2" on August 1, and recently participated in the recording of the TV North Korea TV variety show "PPONG School", the performers and staff of the relevant programs are also undergoing COVID-19 testing.
Yonhap News Agency said that Park Tae-hwan, who won the first Olympic swimming gold medal for South Korea, did not announce his retirement, but has withdrawn from the front line since the South Korean National Sports Conference in October 2019, and has not participated in the South Korean National Representative Qualification Tournament held in May this year, and has not even registered with the Korean Swimming Federation.
