Maoshan Mountain, located at the junction of Jintan District and Zhenjiang Jurong City, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, is 372.5 meters above sea level and covers an area of more than 50 square kilometers. Maoshan is a famous Taoist mountain in the mainland, the birthplace of the Shangqing sect of Taoism, known as the "Shangqing Sect Altar", and has the reputation of "the first blessed land, the eighth cave heaven". It is also one of the six major anti-Japanese base areas in China's mountains. There are many scenic spots on the mountain, including nine peaks, nineteen springs, twenty-six caves, and twenty-eight ponds. The forest coverage rate is more than 90%, the peaks are green, the clouds are misty, and the climate is pleasant. In 1986, Maoshan Scenic Area was listed as a provincial forest park by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, approved as a provincial grade A scenic spot, and in 2013, it was rated as a national AAAAA level tourist scenic spot. The main attractions are Maoshan Taoist Temple, Yuanfu Wanning Palace, Anti-Japanese Victory Monument, New Fourth Army Memorial Hall, Huayang Cave, Xike Spring and so on.
