Spring in memory

When I was a child, my grandmother liked to teach us to sing smoothly: 1929 does not shoot, 3949 walks on the ice, 5969 looks at the willows along the river, 79 rivers open 89 geese come, 99 plus 19, ploughing cattle everywhere.

Spring in memory

In catchy folk songs, winter goes to spring. In my hometown of Taihang Mountain, when its tentacles were just stretched out in the spring, the first words of the villagers when they met were: "Spring has begun."

The sky, the ponds, the grass and trees stretched out like flowers after a long winter of captivity.

The sky was like a blue crystal magic mirror hanging on the tip of a mountain, so clear, so blue. The thick white clouds, clumps of cotton, bursts of waves, hung on this side of the sky, embellished on the other side of the sky, decorating the sky like a picture.

The expressionless ice in the pond behind the village began to thaw little by little, and finally, the surface of the water was covered with silky folds, and gradually came to life. Some of the ducks, with their pointed beaks, also detected the temperature of the water and happily commented, "Quack! People can't help but think of Su Shi's "Evening View of Huichongchun River":

Three or two branches of peach blossoms outside the bamboo, spring river plumbing duck prophet.

Spring in memory

Every March, a row of willow trees by a small pond catches people's eyes. At first glance, the willow branch looked a bit like the old woman's scattered hair, and after staring for a moment, I felt a light green floating there. Blink your eyes, look again, the fog seems to be a layer deeper, really a little bit of the artistic effect of double-sided embroidery in Xiang embroidery, translucent and semi-hazy.

When I was a child, I liked spring the most because I could fly a "kite". As soon as the spring breeze blew, the children's hearts were also blown away. The kites at that time were handmade by the children themselves. First, two thick rice poles were found, one long for kites, about 60 centimeters, and one short for kite supports, about 25 centimeters. Two short rice poles, glued with paste on 2 patterns cut out of red paper, there are animals, there are flowers, with a nail through the middle of the short rice pole, inserted in one end of the long rice pole, a traditional kite is ready.

Then, holding the end of the long rice pole of the kite in his hand, he ran from high to low, following the wind and the red pattern to make a high-speed rotation. Now that I think about it, it can't be called a "kite", at most a "paper windmill", but that is the toy that children look forward to most in the spring, because only during the New Year, every household buys red paper to write couplets and blessing characters, and leaves some for children to use as kites.

After the gentle drizzle, the villagers carried shovels and hoes to the fields where they had spent the winter, densely and gracefully dotted, becoming a kind of scenery. The field faintly exudes a warm breath, and if you listen carefully, you can also hear the sound of "squeaking", when the soil is quietly soft.

After the beginning of spring, the wheat seedlings begin to grow wildly, and the grass hidden in the wheat seedlings also rages together. In the spring, the main job of the villagers is to pull grass, the endless terraces, people wearing straw hats, bending over, busy in the wheat fields all day long, tired, happy.

Spring in memory

The villagers said that this is the first page of agricultural affairs, and when the soil is completely thawed, the ploughing, harrowing, sowing, and lively spring has officially arrived!

"Every year is similar in spring, different in years and years", I have not walked into a wheat field for decades, and I have never seen a "kite" like a "windmill", and that charming spring will always remain in the memory!
