International Online Liaoning Channel News: On February 15, the Shenyang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese held a 30-day Sino-Russian oil painting art exhibition of "Family Affection for China, Overseas Chinese and The Winter Olympics" in Shenyang Arts and Crafts Commercial Building.
More than 30 people attended the opening ceremony, including Zhang Mei, secretary of the party leading group and chairman of the Shenyang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Sergei Chernenko, consul general of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Shenyang, and more than 30 people, including overseas Chinese and ethnic Chinese in Shenyang, representatives of returned overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese dependants, and artists from overseas Chinese circles.

This Sino-Russian oil painting art exhibition is an integral part of the series of activities of the Shenyang Overseas Chinese Art Festival carefully organized by the Shenyang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese conscientiously implementing the work arrangements of the municipal party committee and the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese at higher levels, aiming at extensively mobilizing overseas Chinese at home and abroad to publicize the Winter Olympics, promote the Winter Olympics, jointly celebrate the Winter Olympics, share the glory of the nation, set up a stage with culture, and enhance artistic exchanges and economic and trade exchanges.

This exhibition exhibits a total of 100 oil paintings and works of art provided by overseas Chinese in Russia, showing Russian figure paintings, landscape paintings and still life paintings from different angles, integrating elegant artistry, rich national customs and fashion culture, and is an artistic feast with culture, connotation and temperature. This activity not only reflects the achievements of folk cultural exchanges between Shenyang and Russia, but also further publicizes and promotes Shenyang, telling heroic cities, heroic history and heroic stories, which is of great significance to enhance Shenyang's influence at home and abroad.
Li Changzuo, president of the Northeast Asia "Belt and Road" Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Federation, and Li Na, president of the Moscow Federation of Overseas Chinese and Chinese, delivered speeches respectively, expressing the feelings of overseas Chinese compatriots who love the motherland and their hometown, and their confidence and determination to be a firm supporter of the "Belt and Road" economic and trade cooperation and a messenger of friendship to promote cultural exchanges and friendship between China and foreign countries.
