Recently, Lu Sihao, who has been immersed in diving for 2 years, returned with his second novel, "The Night Before Dawn", which tells a story about escape, face and choice. The book was jointly published and distributed by Boji Tianjuan and Hunan Literature and Art Publishing House in August 2021.

The book tells the story of an urban white-collar worker who is about to turn thirty and inexplicably suffers from bipolar disorder, and a month later he is on the verge of collapse, waking up in the smoke and lying in a nursing center. At the nursing home, he unexpectedly makes several friends, an idealist defeated by reality, a child bound by family and school, and a girl with bulimia. Four people with different problems met at the sanatorium center.

Studying in Australia at the age of 17, 7 years of study abroad, let the author face loneliness earlier. It was also during this period that he began to experiment with writing. In 2011, he published his first book, "Thinking Too Much", but this time the publication did not go well, and the shell publishing company not only dusted the new book, but also put him in a penniless predicament.

About the author: The inspiration for this work originally came from a signing event in 2019. During the question session, a boy stood up and told the story of his depression, which deeply touched Lu Sihao. He even remembers his own heartbeat when talking to this reader. Because this incident reminded him of the darkest moment he had had, he felt the pain of the black hole. In the next few episodes, readers shared that he or the people around him were suffering from mental illness, which made him feel that he should write something about it.

In 2020, Lu Sihao noticed that the stories shared by people in social networks are filled with more and more pressure, and the people around them are living less and less like themselves. He heard many stories about mental illness, and many people were trapped in the pull between self-expectation and social expectation, unable to save themselves.

So he decided to go through the materials and investigate.

For Lu Sihao, trying to write about social themes is also a challenge.

In the end, he completed his "transformation work" and wrote this story about "self-discovery".
