In February 1992, Xiuyan County came under the jurisdiction of Anshan City. Previously, entrusted by the Anshan Municipal Government, Comrade Wang Chuangye, who retired from the post of vice mayor of Anshan City, has been concurrently serving as the honorary director of the Municipal Committee on Aging. In order to better carry out the work of the cause of the elderly in Xiuyan County, he decided to first make a few inspections of the townships and towns passing through the county, so that he could have a good idea, so he led several comrades of the Municipal Committee on Aging to drive to Shimiaozi, Suzigou, Huanghuadian and other townships in Xiuyan County to visit the masses. Throughout the day, the old mayor was still in good spirits and full of energy, and everyone lamented that his old eight-way style had not diminished.

Wang Chuangye fell ill in bed, tossing and turning, but his heart has not been able to put down the work in his hands, and as soon as his condition improved, he invited the comrades of the Committee on Aging to inquire about the progress of the work. When it comes to the preparation of the Anshan City Elderly Apartment and the Geriatric Hospital, he still hesitates and says: "To run the welfare cause for the elderly, we must rely on the good policies of the party's reform and opening up, take the road of self-development, and insist on not reaching out to the municipal finance for money!" In the meantime, the mayor of Anshan City came to visit the hospital, and Wang Chuangye could not take care of his own body, pulled out the needle of the hanging bottle and got out of bed to report the progress of the work to the mayor and put forward some practical questions. The mayor said humorously: "Old mayor, you are not hospitalized for injections and recuperation, but to see stitches and needles to run an elderly business!" After saying that, there was a lot of laughter in the ward.
Wang Chuangye's dedication and enthusiasm for the cause of the elderly was impressed by the mayor, and the mayor immediately made a decision to give policy support. Later, Wang Chuangye's entrepreneurship for the elderly in Anshan City in the ward was passed down as a good story.

Wang Chuangye was born in 1919 in Siyang County, north-central Jiangsu Province. Siyang County is the hometown of fish and rice in Jiangnan, zhongtong Beijing-Hangzhou Canal, south of Hongze Lake, abundant rainwater, rich in products. However, in that era of internal and external troubles and turbulent world affairs, even if they lived in a rich place since ancient times, the people were still in deep trouble, and Wang Chuangye's family situation was like this. His father was a farmer facing the loess soil, who had worked hard for many years without a penny of his own land, and could only make a living by doing long-term work for the landlord's family, and the family could barely fill their stomachs in time for the good years. Wang Chuangye has two older sisters and a younger sister, and as the only son in the family, he is naturally loved in every way. His father hoped that his son would no longer follow his own old path in the future, save money and use money, borrow from the east and the west, and provide him with education.
In July 1937, the Iron Hooves of the Japanese invaders stepped on the Lugou Bridge, captured Beiping and Tianjin, and quickly invaded the south. After the defeat at the Battle of Songhu, Shanghai fell, and Nanjing, Xuzhou, Wuhan and other places were lost one after another. In two years, the Japanese had controlled most of China, burning and looting everywhere they went, committing a lot of crimes. During this period, Wang Chuangye, who was already studying in middle school, was influenced by progressive ideas and actively participated in various anti-Japanese demonstrations and propaganda work carried out by the school. However, in 1939, the school was forced to close in the war, and Wang Had to return home while working as a farmer while secretly maintaining contact with the Communist Party's grass-roots organizations.

Siyang County is located at the junction of Suzhou and Anhui provinces, traversed by the Grand Canal and Haizheng Highway, and was the main traffic route between Huaibei and Huainan during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. It is precisely because of its important geographical location that it has become the focus of the Japanese army.
In November 1942, with the cooperation of cavalry, tanks and aircraft, the Japanese army divided into 5 roads and surrounded the central area of the Huaibei base area in an attempt to annihilate the main force of the 4th Division of the New Fourth Army along the coast of Hongze Lake. The main force of the 4th Division and the local armed forces began a 33-day anti-"mopping-up" struggle under the command of division commander Peng Xuefeng. The main force of the 4th Division first jumped out of the enemy's combined attack circle, used a small number of main forces and local armed forces to maneuver with the enemy on the spot, threatened the enemy's flanks and rear, and carried out a breakout battle, and after 37 fierce battles in Qingyang, Magongdian, Guandimiao, and Zhujiagang, finally completely defeated the enemy on December 17, and won a major victory in the anti-"sweep" in Huaibei. After the war, General Peng Xuefeng wrote in the "Memorial to the Martyrs of the Battle of Zhujiagang": "In the course of the whole campaign, the bloody struggle was fierce, tragic and tragic, and the earth was weeping ghosts and gods! ”
Wang Chuangye participated in the campaign with the local troops, experienced and grew up in the battle, and in the subsequent work, he served as the director of the organization department of the Siyang County Boundary Market District Committee of the CPC, the director of the Siyang County Armed Committee, and the director of the Youth Rescue Association.
In 1960, Wang Chuangye worked in the first rolling mill of Angang Steel.
On August 15, 1945, Japan announced its surrender, and the Chinese people achieved a great victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan. Subsequently, Chiang Kai-shek unilaterally tore up the peace agreement, and the War of Liberation began immediately.
In the autumn of 1946, the main forces of the Huaibei base area carried out the instructions of the Party Central Committee to "crush Chiang Kai-shek's offensive in a war of self-defense" and carried out a strategic shift, and the northern part of Jiangsu immediately became an enemy-occupied area. In November of the same year, the Kuomintang 69th Division carried out a frenzied sweep of the 7th Sub-district of Huaibei, and cadres and local armed forces in Siyang, Wuhe, Suining, Lingbi, Tongshan and other counties suffered serious losses in the area around Honghu Lake. Among them, Wang Yazhen, governor of Wuhe County, Chen Lixiang, deputy secretary of the Lingbi County CPC Committee, and more than a dozen other comrades died heroically in the battle.
The base areas are constantly shrinking, and the enemy's encroachment and our anti-encroachment struggle are extremely fierce. Under the unfavorable situation, the Siyang County Party Committee decided to set up two working committees aimed at mobilizing the masses and expanding the anti-Japanese forces. One of the working committees was headed by comrades such as Wang Chuangye and Yang Daonan.
In 1980, Wang Chuangye, vice mayor in charge of education, taught the revolutionary tradition to Anshan No. 67 Middle School.
In November 1946, the Battle of Subei began, and our army annihilated the enemy's integrated 69th Division and killed the enemy division commander Dai Yuanqi. Subsequently, the Central China Bureau decided to establish the Huaibei Working Committee and arrange for some of the main forces and local cadres to return to Siyang. During this period, Wang Chuangye, Yang Daonan, and more than ten other people formed a vanguard unit to enter first, forming the Siyang County CPC Committee, with Yang Daonan as the county chief and Wang Chuangye as the deputy secretary of the county party committee.
Wang Chuangye and Yang Daonan had great influence among the masses in Siyang, after the enemy spread rumors that they had been killed. Now the masses were thrilled to see them safe and sound and returning with their troops, and stabilized the hearts and minds of the people. Previously, our troops were victorious in the northern Jiangsu region, and the enemy was terrified and frightened, and when he learned that the New Fourth Army had returned to Siyang, he frightened the local stubborn people and fled. The two districts of Longji and Jieji in Siyang County were immediately controlled by our side and a relatively consolidated base area was established.
For a period of time after the fall of Siyang, the Kuomintang organized reactionary forces to take revenge and liquidate and kill the masses. After Wang Chuangye and other cadres of our party return to Siyang, they will extensively establish a united front, mobilize the masses to carry out a campaign to complain about grievances, and fight landlords to divide up the land. At the same time, we should persist in cracking down on diehards, plotting against the enemy, and doing a good job in intelligence work to ensure the stability of the nascent regime. During this period of time, the fighting spirit of the masses was high, and many people actively signed up to join the army, delivering grain, medicine, and intelligence to our army, effectively cracking down on the arrogance of the enemy, strengthening our revolutionary forces, and laying a solid mass foundation for the future liberation of Siyang.

Subsequently, the whole factory took this opportunity to develop 15 kinds of mechanized equipment such as crude rolling automatic turning machine, vertical coil, automatic coiling machine, flying shear, etc., which improved the working conditions and greatly improved the productivity. During his tenure as the director of a small factory, Wang Chuangye applied the advanced technology and management experience learned in Masteel to his practical work, and encouraged employees to carry out drastic reform and innovation, which further promoted production and efficiency. During Wang Chuangye's tenure as factory director, the annual output of small factories has been maintained at more than 300,000 tons.
In 1980, Wang Chuangye was transferred to the vice mayor of Anshan City. He retired in 1984.
After retiring, Wang Entrepreneurship is still idle, and focuses his main energy on the city's elderly cause. As the honorary director of the Municipal Committee on Aging, he has traveled to more than 50 townships and 834 villages in the city's rural areas, talking with town and village cadres, helping to solve problems, and supervising the inspection and signing of family support agreements. Wang Chuangye was tireless and tireless, and formed a deep friendship with the masses in his long-term work, so that almost all the comrades in the township who were engaged in elderly work could call out their names. And the old people also regard this approachable and dedicated to the cause of the elderly as a close friend, calling him a good cadre for "starting a business for the elderly".
Over the past few years, under the efforts of Wang Chuangye, 53,000 elderly people in the city's rural areas have signed family support agreements, and a number of wealthy villages have also issued pensions to the elderly over 60 years old, which is undoubtedly a great contribution to the development of the city's elderly cause.
Wang Chuangye has been walking hurriedly and tirelessly all his life, not knowing that on the way to starting a business for the party and for the people, the green silk has turned white hair and wrinkles have crawled all over his forehead. In 2005, he died of illness.
