Teacher Chen Lin's Personal Profile:
Chen Lin, born in 1963 in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, graduated from the Fine Arts Department of the People's Liberation Army Academy of Arts. He is now a painter of the Naval Creation Studio, a member of the China Artists Association, a national first-class artist, and the deputy director of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee of the China Cultural Industry Promotion Association.
His works have participated in the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th National Art Exhibitions; the 2007, 2009 and 2011 Jinling Hundred National Art Exhibitions; the 2nd National Chinese Painting Exhibition; the 65th, 70th, 80th and 85th Anniversaries of the Founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and the 50th and 60th Anniversaries of the Founding of the People's Republic of China; the 10th All-Army Art Exhibition and the All-Army "Exploration" Exhibition; the International Art Works Exhibition Commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the Victory of the Anti-Fascist War; and the 2008 Special Exhibition of National Fine Arts Works Concerned about Wenchuan In 2009, the all-army fine arts works toured Hong Kong and Macao. Many of his works have won awards or been collected by the National Art Museum of China, the Shandong Provincial Art Museum, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Peking University, and the People's Liberation Army Academy of Arts.
Among them, "Deep in the Sea" won the Excellence Award of the All-Army Art Exhibition on the 50th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China; "Amphibious Hunter" won the Excellence Award of the 10th All-Army Art Exhibition; "Li Bing Mo Ma" won the Excellence Award of the All-Army Art Exhibition on the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China; and "For the Survival of the Nation" was collected at the National Art Museum of China.
In recent years, he has published a number of personal works such as "Chen Lin's Chinese Painting Collection", "Selected Works of Chen Lin's Chinese Paintings", "Chen Lin's Works" displayed by famous Chinese artists, and "Chen Lin's Works" and other personal works.
