Crowder: The Lone Ranger gave me a bigger contract and I wanted to play with Paul Booker

Tiger Punch, December 02, 2019 Suns new signing Jay Crowder was interviewed by the media today, and he talked about many aspects.

Crowder said that when he became a free agent, the recruitment of Devin Booker and Chris Paul meant a lot to him.

Crowder admitted that the main reason he chose to join the Suns was to play with Booker and Paul, saying that Booker is the top talented player in the league and has proved himself.

Crowder said he had been offered from multiple teams in the free agent market, but he couldn't imagine playing for those teams for long, and Crowder confirmed that the Lone Ranger had offered him a bigger contract.

According to previous reports, Claude joined the Suns on a three-year, $30 million contract.

In the 2019-20 regular season, Crowder averaged 28.8 minutes per game and averaged 10.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
