The popularity of the cherry tomatoes in Baisha Jinbo has led to the increase of villagers' income
At the beginning of spring, in Tianyangli, Yajia Village, Jinbo Township, Baisha Li Autonomous County, cherry tomatoes ushered in a pick boom. As Jinbo cherry tomatoes became popular in the market, once they were picked, they were sold out, creating a maximum output value of 24,000 yuan per mu.

According to reports, this year, Yajia Village planted 28 acres of cherry tomatoes, with an output of 3,000 jin per mu, ranging from 6 yuan to 8 yuan per kilogram. Cherry tomatoes can be picked from July and August to February of the following year. At present, the 10-kilogram cherry tomatoes in the county have been in short supply, and the Jinbo cherry tomatoes seem to be labeled as "tight goods".

Fu Jiajia, a villager in Rush Shang Village of the Yajia Village Committee, is a major grower of cherry tomatoes in Jinbo. In 2017, Fu Jiajia began to try to grow cherry tomatoes, becoming Jin Bo's "first person to eat crabs", but due to market, management, technology and other issues, her own cherry tomatoes need to be transported to Changjiang October Field for sale, which is both laborious and unpalatable.
Fresh and juicy cherry tomatoes
From the end of last year to the beginning of this year, Jinbo cherry tomatoes were suddenly favored by consumers in the fresh food market. The "Millennium" cherry tomato varieties planted by Fu Jiajia have become popular because of their high sweetness and good taste. This year, 16 farmers have planted cherry tomatoes and eaten the "sweet rice" of cherry tomatoes together.
"Last year, 5 acres were planted, and the harvest was more than 40,000, and now it is basically sold in Baisha County." It is hoped that the price will continue to be maintained, the planting area will be expanded, the technology will be improved, and the yield will be increased. Fu Jiajia, a villager in Lashshang Village, Yajia Village Committee, Jinbo Township, Baisha County, said.
