Robertson: The win over Burnley was a tough game and we are looking forward to facing Inter

Live bar February 14, according to liverpool official website, Liverpool in yesterday's 25th round of the Premier League 1-0 away win burnley, Robertson in an interview with the official website about this game, Fabinho's performance and the outlook for the Champions League.

You guys won a tough three-point game, what do you think of this game?

It was a really tough day, and Burnley brought us a lot of difficulties. I think they played a really good game, but we also overcame the challenge they created. Our two centre-backs won a lot of aerial confrontations, as did Fabinho, and I covered a lot of area with Arnold and the midfielder in charge and then the chance to score. Luckily we did and we even had a chance to score more goals, but the 1-0 score was acceptable, we scored three points and now it's time to start looking ahead.

Your goal came at a time when Burnley was attacking aggressively and psychologically, taking the lead in front of midfield was a big boost?

Yes, this is important. We had to calm down and we had more time with the ball than expected. Maybe for a while we'll be in a hurry and overstate the pressure. The timing of the goal was very good, just before half-time, Burnley had a chance to take the lead, but Fabinho, the goal machine, was once again in the right place! We played comfortably in the second half and I don't think the other side had many chances. We would have scored more goals, but the most important thing was to score three points. It's nice that we can keep a clean sheet against the opponent, I think we put a lot of effort into that and we can be happy with our performance.

Fabinho scored that goal on the run...

His versatility is impressive, he's good at snatching the ball back and delivering assists to strikers, but now he's often in the right place at the right time, which is the way a striker plays. We all work hard at the start of the season, but some players put in more than others. Fabinho has scored five goals in the last seven games, which is an incredible performance. Hopefully the players will keep working hard and keep scoring goals, because we can't always rely on strikers to score.

The schedule is getting more and more compact, what do you expect from the Champions League in midweek?

Obviously the Champions League knockouts are very important and we are all excited after the draw and look forward to the challenges that follow. It's going to be a tough game and Inter have been very good in Serie A and they've been working hard for the top spot. We will try to keep going on all fronts, we just had a tough away game and the next game we have to show our best form, as we have done in the last few weeks. If we can do it, I believe we will get a desired result. We're looking forward to this Champions League knockout match, Inter has an iconic, amazing stadium and I'm sure the fans will create a really great atmosphere and we'll have the support of the away fans, we're really looking forward to it.
