It is understood that "Chi Ge Day" is the most complete and characteristic national dance and traditional sacrifice activities preserved by the Baima people, "Chi Ge" means mountain god, and "Day" is a dance. Every year during the Spring Festival, the villages and villages of Tielou Township in Wen County have the custom of performing the mask dance "Chi Ge Day". When dancing, dancers wear masks and dress up as "Brother Chi", "Chi Mu", "Zhima", "Monkey Dolls" and so on, and dance from house to house, with the intention of driving away evil spirits, driving away evil spirits and disasters for the villagers, and avoiding inevitable sins, so as to welcome the auspicious and smooth new year.
