In their previous two away games against Union Berlin, Borussia Dortmund had lost to their opponents. Dortmund now beat Union Berlin for the first time away, and in the current Bundesliga arena, Borussia Dortmund have beaten every team away.
In the Bundesliga table, Dortmund are currently six points behind Bayern in second place.
