It is reported that in order to guide students to have a rich, healthy and beneficial holiday, Tin Ka Ping Middle School has launched a set of comprehensive practice guides for the integration of disciplines - "Winter Vacation Moment Manual". The manual includes rich contents such as the inheritance of the Spring Festival traditional culture experience, the "happiness walk" punch card of housework, and the practical experience of career education, etc., for students to consciously and purposefully carry out practical exploration activities.
In the process of carrying out the Spring Festival traditional culture experience and inheritance activities, the students sought the taste of the New Year, understood the tradition, and through the design and editing of the "Chinese New Year Pictorial", described the origin of the Lantern Festival, the customs of the New Year, and the reasons for the Spring Festival, eating Chinese New Year's Eve rice, etc.
Students also worked with their elders in the family to write festive "Fu" characters, make big red lanterns with different shapes, and wrapped sesame dumplings, etc., from which they experienced the charm of traditional Chinese folklore.
In the holiday housework punch card activities, many high school students carry out housework such as washing dishes and chopsticks, learning to cook, cleaning the garbage in the room and corridors, folding clothes, etc., from which they experience the difficulty of labor and the hardships of their parents and other elders.
