Her debut album in 1985 topped three singles charts in the United States: "Greatest Love of All"; "Leave All My Love to You" and "How Do I Know". Whitney (1987) won four more titles and won a Grammy for Houston.
Houston married singer Bobby Brown in 1992 and made his debut in the film The Bodyguard, which ranked first for 14 consecutive weeks with her performance of "I Love You Forever."
The film's soundtrack dominated at the following year's Grammy Awards, with Houston winning the Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocalist.
