The joint home event was a light heavyweight showdown, with former Bellator light heavyweight champion Phil Davis against Lithuanian striker Julius Anglickas.

Mades Burnell (16-3, 1 K, 9 S) is 27 years old and has a height of 173cm and an arm span of 175cm. Started his professional MMA career in 2013, won the SOMMA badmintonweight championship in 2016, joined the UFC in 2017 with a (8-1) result and three consecutive wins, left the octagon cage after achieving (1-2) in the UFC in 2018, won the CMFC badmintonweight championship in 2019, joined the Bellator in 2020 with a (13-3) result and four consecutive wins, and has won 3 consecutive victories at the Bellator so far. Just beat Emmanuel Sanchez in points last July.

Adam Burris (17-1, 4 K, 6 S) is 28 years old and has a height of 180cm with an arm span of 179cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2014 and joined the Bellator tournament with a (9-0) result in 2017 and has achieved a (8-1) result at The Bellator so far. After losing his first career defeat in January 2020 by Darrion Caldwell in the first set, he recently won three straight games, just after a point-and-shoot victory over Jeremy Kennedy last April.

Phil Davis (23-6, 6 K, 5 S, 1 N) is 37 years old and has a height of 188cm with an arm span of 201cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2008, joined the UFC race with a (4-0) result in 2010, and achieved a (9-3, 1 N) result at the UFC in 2015. He then joined the Bellator tournament with a (13-3, 1 N) score, winning four consecutive victories at the Bellator, including the Bellator light heavyweight championship gold belt in November 2016, and regretting that the first defensive battle of 2017 was decided to lose to Ryan Bader. He has only lost to one man twice in his last eight matches, losing to Vadim Nemkov in a divergent decision in 2018 and losing again in a second-time match against Nemkov last April, just after a split decision to defeat Yoel Romero in September last year.

Julius Angglikas (10-2, 3 K, 4 S) is 30 years old and has a height of 191cm with an arm span of 196cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2016 and joined the Bellator tournament in 2019 with a (7-1) result and a six-game winning streak, winning three consecutive games at the Bellator, unfortunately just after challenging former Bellator light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov in October last year, he was demoted in the fourth set and lost the golden belt.
