February 12, 2022 Zhangjiakou Yin turned to light snow
I am Yang Wanlu, a junior at the School of Tourism, Changchun University. The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics coincide with the Chinese New Year, and the Winter Olympic Village is full of strong "New Year flavor". Red lanterns and Chinese knots symbolizing traditional Chinese culture can be seen everywhere, and the fiery "Chinese red" has become the most dazzling hue of this sports event.
At first, I thought that only Chinese players would use ornaments that contain traditional Chinese culture. But in fact, foreign athletes and international friends love these small decorations beyond imagination.
When I work at the integrated service center, I often see their backpacks with Chinese knots or hand-woven red koi. Today, a Dutch player also asked me how I could get the couplet and the fu zi, and I immediately decided to give him the couplet and fu zi distributed by the team.
I am also sincerely pleased to see the happy smiling faces of foreign players. Inside and outside the Winter Olympics, many unique Chinese cultural symbols decorate this exquisite "ice and snow festival".

For example, the award bouquets made with the "Haipai Velvet Thread Weaving Technique", a chinese intangible cultural heritage, and the "Three Friends of the Cold Year" around the golden "ice pier", all of which send out Chinese voices to the world and spread Chinese culture.
I am very happy to see more and more foreign friends fall in love with traditional Chinese culture, and I look forward to this "Chinese red" continuing to shine on the world stage.
