In the biathlon men's 10 km sprint final, the Chinese team sent Cheng Fangming, Yan Xingyuan, Zhu Zhenyu and Zhang Chunyu four athletes to participate, Yan Xingyuan set off in the 61st place, he had one shot off target in the lying position shooting, and five shots in the standing position, and finally he reached the finish line at 26 minutes 16.7 seconds, ranking 40th among all the participants, and the other three Chinese players Cheng Fangming, Zhang Chunyu and Zhu Zhenyu won the 32nd, 76th and 81st places respectively. The gold medal was won by Norway's Johannes Tinnes Beauer with a total of 24 points and 4 points.
According to the results and rules of the competition, the final ranking of the top 60 runners will be qualified for the biathlon men's 12.5 km pursuit on the evening of February 13, and Yan Xingyuan and Cheng Fangming will successfully qualify.
It is understood that the sprint race is similar to the individual race, the runners use a single departure, the interval is 30 seconds, the women need to play three laps of a total of 7.5 km race, and the men need to play 3 laps for a total of 10 km race. In the race, the player needs to stop and shoot twice, the shooting posture and order are lying down, shooting vertically, each time 5 bullets, if there is an off-target, will be fined to glide a 150-meter field of the circle, after reaching the end of the line the runner with the least time is the winner, and the final time includes the taxi time and the penalty for sliding.
