Taurus contains two easily discoverable clusters , the Pleiadian cluster and the Pyrrhus cluster.

Reader, you can see The Bull-Taurus in the Northern Hemisphere from autumn to spring (or from autumn to spring in the Southern Hemisphere). Taurus is close to the visible Orion in the night sky. Basically, Taurus is characterized by a bifurcation with pointed ends at both ends, and a V-shaped center contains a true cluster (a planet in social form) – the Piccolos cluster. Specifically, the Pleiadian cluster shaped the face of the "cow". The bright red and bright Beechpart 5 also shines in the "V". Correspondingly, this constellation represents the fiery eyes of the "bull". In addition, Taurus also contains another well-known star cluster, the Pleiades Cluster, which is also known as the "Seven Sisters Cluster". The Pleiadian Cluster has the shape of a small long-handled spoon.

More: Taurus is also the radiation point of the Taurus meteor shower, which occurs in November every year.

Approach Taurus

Taurus is one of the zodiac diagrams of the zodiac, which means that the sun, moon, and planets pass through this constellation on a regular basis. The sun will cross Taurus from May 14 to July 21, but when the sun is within the boundaries of Taurus, you won't see Taurus. So you can try to look for it in the late afternoon sky at the end of the year.

In general, you can easily find Taurus based on the small and unique stars of the V-shaped Hyades and Plerades. But if you locate yourself with the famous constellation Orion, you'll know you've found the right place.

First, look for the three belt stars in the constellation Orion. Orion and Taurus are neighbors on the sky dome. Soon, Taurus rises first above the horizon, so when Orion rises, you can use its belt star to draw a line upwards to find the two clusters of Taurus.

Stars in Taurus

In addition, Taurus contains two very bright stars: Patranio and 5. Of the two stars, Bilex is relatively easier to find. Because it is relatively bright, it is part of the V-shape of the Ebido cluster, and it has a reddish glow

Stargazers have every reason to see Bildus as the bull's fiery eyes. The five stars are 0.85 , making it the fourteenth brightest star of the day. Although it appears to be part of the Ebida Cluster, it is actually closer to Earth. Patrick is 65 light-years from Earth, while the other stars in the Bilde cluster are 150 light-years away.

Five cars and five marks the tip of the golden bull horn. It is on the other side of the Taurus head that differs from Bildauro. Five-car five is the second brightest star in Taurus, after Pedrogue. It has a magnitude of 1.68. It was relatively close to us, about 130 light-years away, in the direction of the silver core with its back to it.

This chart of Taurus shows the position of Pyridon in the V-shaped head of Taurus. In addition to this, you can also see M1 (i.e. the Crab Nebula) ζ five (Taurus β) and Taurus. Chart from Wikimedia Commons.

Crab Nebula

In addition to this, Taurus has a very good deep space object. This object can be seen as long as there are binoculars or small astronomical telescopes. Messier 1 , or the Crab Nebula — is a remnant of a star left over from a supernova explosion. It broke out in 1054 AD.

The crab nebula magnitude is 8.4. It is next to the Taurus ζ. In this way, if the five cars and fives are regarded as the apex of a Taurus horn, then taurus ζ is the apex of another.

Taurus: Myths and Chimes

In Greek mythology, Taurus is used to commemorate the story of the main god Zeus turning himself into a handsome white cow that won the heart of the Phoenician princess Europa. After The Europa jumped on the bull's back, it took the Europa across the Mediterranean Sea and all the way to Crete. After that, Zeus and Europa gave birth to Minos, the legendary king of Crete.

Meanwhile, the Zuni of New Mexico used clusters of Pleiadian clusters as agricultural calendars. The Zuni call the Pleiades the Seeds, and when the Pleiades disappear from the western sunset sky in spring, the Zuni know that there will be no more frost coming, and this is the best time to sow seeds. However, the Zuni also knew that seeding must be completed before the eastern dawn broke and the Pleiades cluster reappeared, otherwise the immature plants would die in the autumn frost.

The Zuni are not alone in their reverence for the Pleiades in Taurus. In fact, there is probably no other stellar organization that enjoys such a global reputation for chimes, celebrations, and stories and legends.

In short: Taurus is located near orion. It contains two well-known and easily recognizable clusters– the Pleiades and the Pyrrhus Cluster.
