In Shantou City, an unemployed young woman did not think of the right way to get rich, but entered a residential area in Longhu District of Shantou City many times in a month, stole bicycles parked in the corridors of residents and sold them, grabbing ill-gotten gains.
At the end of December 2021, the Longhu court found the young woman guilty.
On August 11, 15, and 17, 2021, defendant Zhang X went to a residential community in Longhu District, Shantou City, three times, stole three bicycles parked by the victims Chen X, Li X, Liu X, and others in the corridor of the community floor, and then sold the stolen cars, and the proceeds were spent.
On August 24, 2021, defendant Zhang was caught by security guards when he came to the above-mentioned residential area again to prepare to commit theft, and after the security captain called the police, the police came to the scene to bring Zhang back to investigate.
Defendant Zhang had no objection to the facts, charges, and sentencing recommendations.
Defendant Zhang, for the purpose of illegal possession, repeatedly used secret means to steal other people's property, constituting the crime of theft. Based on the facts, nature, circumstances, repentance and degree of harm to society caused by defendant Zhang's crime, the Longhu court sentenced Zhang to six months' fixed-term imprisonment and a fine of 2,000 yuan in accordance with law.
