The power of faith always travels through time and space. At the Memorial Hall of the Red Army's Long March xiangjiang campaign in Caiwan Town, Quanzhou, Guangxi, the exhibition "Bloody Battle of the Xiangjiang River Break" records the bloody struggle of the Red Army in that year. Chen Shuxiang, commander of the "Desperate Defender Division," was seriously wounded and unfortunately captured, and when he woke up, he strangled his intestines from the abdominal wound with his hands and sacrificed himself heroically. 87 years after the Battle of xiangjiang, General Secretary Xi Jinping stared for a long time in front of the oil painting "Chen Shuxiang". Reliving those fiery years, General Secretary Xi Jinping profoundly pointed out: "Revolutionary ideals are higher than heaven. It is precisely because the Red Army is a revolutionary army with ideals and convictions that it can regard death as a homecoming, live toward death, forge ahead, and be reborn in a desperate situation."

Faith in Marxism, faith in socialism and communism, is the political soul of communists and the spiritual pillar for communists to withstand any test. At that time, in order to seek revolutionary truth, Zhu De resolutely abandoned the high-ranking official Houlu and joined the Communist Party of China through the introduction of Zhou Enlai. In 1927, under the white terror, He Long, then commander of the 20th Army of the National Revolutionary Army, refused the solicitation of the "gold bar and silver ocean" and resolutely decided to join the Communist Party of China. In the journey of a hundred years of struggle, Chinese communists have gathered under the banner of faith, kept their original intentions with perseverance and life to the mission, strengthened their faith without being overwhelmed by any difficulties, and adhered to their faith while always maintaining optimism and forging ahead.

Over the past one hundred years, ideals and convictions have been like torches and beacons, leading our party from small to large, from weak to strong, and from victory to new victory. History and practice have repeatedly proved that when a political party has lofty ideals and lofty pursuits, it will be strong and powerful, indestructible, invincible, and able to withstand setbacks and rise up again and again.

For communists, faith is like the North Star, like a beacon, always providing value navigation, ideological guidance and a source of motivation for the struggle to move forward. Faith is not empty or abstract, but has a deep theoretical basis; faith is not distant or nihilistic, but is closely connected with the task of stage. Political firmness and party spirit are inseparable from theoretical firmness. Over the past one hundred years, our party has adhered to the unity of emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts, the unity of peiyuan solid foundation and the unity of abiding by integrity and innovation, constantly opened up new realms of Marxism, produced Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thinking of "three represents", the scientific concept of development, and produced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era, providing scientific theoretical guidance for the development of the cause of the party and the people. Today, a new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country has begun, and the clarion call to march toward the second centenary goal has been sounded. By unremittingly arming our minds, guiding practice, and promoting work with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, we will surely continue to write new chapters and create new brilliance on the great journey of the new era.

In the years of the revolutionary war, some people understood the Red Army in this way: Why the Red Army cannot be dispersed, and will come back when it is scattered, mainly because the Communist Party and the Red Army have faith, and even every soldier has faith. Faith spans a hundred years, extends to the infinite future, and always illuminates the road of struggle of communists. Strengthen faith, conviction and confidence, our party will always maintain its youth and vitality, unite and lead the Chinese people to create more miracles on earth.
