Fa Ziying once told his defender, Yu Xi, a lawyer at the Bank of China (Hefei) Law Firm in Beijing, that Lao Rongzhi gave up a stable teaching job and left his hometown of Jiujiang City, where he had grown up for 20 years, because he "particularly admired people like me who dared to fight and kill". Since 1996, Lao Rongzhi has followed Fa Ziying to commit homicides in Nanchang, Wenzhou, Hefei and other places.

According to the death sentence handed down by the Hefei Intermediate People's Court against Fa Ziying, in October 1964, Fa Ziying was born in an ordinary rural family in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, with only a junior high school education. In 1981, The underage Fa Ziying was sentenced to 8 years in prison for robbery and intentional injury.
10 years after Fa Ziying was born, Lao Rongzhi also fell to the ground in Jiujiang. In 1989, Lao Rongzhi was admitted to Jiujiang Normal School to study kindergarten teachers, and after graduation, he entered the Jiujiang Petroleum Branch Children's School as a primary school teacher.
Fa Ziying's defense lawyer, Yu Xi, said that Fa Ziying was released early because of his good behavior in prison. According to Fa Ziying's account of Yu Xi, in 1994, at a friend's wedding, he and Lao Rongzhi met. After the wedding party, Fa Ziying rode his motorcycle to send Lao Rongzhi home, and from then on began to pursue Lao Rongzhi, and the two were soon together.
Why was Lao Rongzhi, who was only 19 years old at the time, attracted to the 29-year-old Fa Ziying? "It may be the hero complex of the little girl, she especially admired me at that time for daring to fight and kill people, and regarded me as a hero, so she was willing to follow me." Fa Ziying once said to his defense lawyer Yu Xi in a proud tone.
The year after the two met, Fa Ziying fled Jiujiang City due to robbery and injury, and the 20-year-old Lao Rongzhi chose to give up his family and stable teaching job and followed Fa Ziying on the road to his death.

At the end of July of that year, "Chen Jia" took xiong, the target of the kidnapping, to the rental house where she and Fa Ziying lived, and Fa Ziying snatched jewelry, watches and other items from Xiong, and then strangled Xiong's neck with wire and rope, and Xiong suffocated to death. Subsequently, Fa Ziying and Lao Rongzhi came to Xiong's house and brutally killed Xiong's wife and his 3-year-old daughter.
When the Nanchang police came to the rental house, Lao Rongzhi and Fa Ziying had long disappeared.
In October 1997, After a violent burglary in Wenzhou, Lao Rongzhi and Fa Ziying killed two more people to eliminate their mouths.
Soon after, "Chen Jia" became "Shen Lingqiu". In June 1999, Fa Ziying and "Shen Lingqiu" migrated to Hefei, Anhui Province.
On July 1 of that year, the two rented a house in the restoration building of Shuanggang Hongqiao Primary School. In the rental house, the two added a special piece of furniture for the "new home" - a steel cage. According to Fa Ziying's death sentence, Fa Ziying customized a steel cage in the name of "Guan Dog" in a welding store near the White Water Dam, and this iron cage later became the death cage of another victim, Yin Mou.
After preparing the tools for kidnapping and killing, Lao Rongzhi repeated the old technique, sat on the stage in a dance hall in Hefei, and found the abduction target Yin Mou.
On July 22 of that year, Lao Rongzhi called Yin to meet in the rental house. However, when Yin entered the door, he was greeted not by The enthusiasm of Lao Rongzhi, but by the cold knife. Fa Ziying put the knife against Yin's neck, and Lao Rongzhi tied his hands with iron wire and stuffed him into an iron cage.
In order to convince Yin that he was a kidnapper and force Yin to hand over his belongings as soon as possible, Fa Ziying lied that his home needed decoration and tricked the little carpenter Lu into a rental house and killed him on the spot.
"Went to the door to see Yin Mou who was locked in an iron cage, Lu Mou was frightened and turned his head and ran, and Fa Ziying pulled his hair, and after dragging him back, he stabbed him several times. After that, Lu Mou ran to the balcony again, and Fa Ziying slashed more than a dozen knives in his back. Liu Jingjie, the lawyer representing Lu's family, recalled the case to the Nandu reporter. Subsequently, Lao Rongzhi cooperated with Fa Ziying to put the little carpenter's body into an old freezer he had purchased that day.
Liu Jingjie introduced to the Nandu reporter that Lu Mou usually farmed in his hometown, because he had a carpentry craft, he went out to work alone as a carpenter in order to save tuition for his children.
According to Fa Ziying's death sentence, under the intimidation of Fa Ziying, Yin wrote a number of notes to his wife Liu according to Fa Ziying's meaning, asking Liu to pay money to redeem people. But Fa Ziying still used a vise to tighten the wire around Yin's neck and strangled him to death. After that, Liu let Fa Ziying and Lao Rongzhi wait at home on the pretext of raising money, and then reported the case to the police.

In July 1999, hefei police arrested and surrounded Fa Ziying, who resisted with a gun in a rental house, but was eventually captured by the police after breaking his right leg.
On July 27 of that year, Hefei police found a hostage, Yin Mou, who had been missing for five days in Shuanggang, but Lao Rongzhi was no longer there. In the 9th issue of Detective Magazine in 1999, a detail was revealed that the owner described to the Hefei police that fa Ziying came with a "young woman dressed up when she entered", and the two claimed to be husband and wife, from Zhejiang.
According to Fa Ziying's defense lawyer, Yu Xi, at that time, Fa Ziying had already married another woman in his hometown of Jiangxi and had a daughter.
In November 1999, the murder case of Fa Ziying was heard. Yu Xi, a lawyer who served as Fa Ziying's defender, recalled to Nandu reporters that before the trial, he had met with Fa Ziying four or five times, "Every time I came back, I felt a sinister ghost atmosphere, as if I was not communicating with a person."

Yu Xi told Nandu reporters that Fa Ziying was very concerned about the situation of his "girlfriend Lao Rongzhi", but never mentioned his family. After learning the news that Lao Rongzhi had not yet been arrested, Yu Xi believed that Fa Ziying "showed a smile from the heart.".
Before the death penalty review, Fa Ziying took the initiative to ask to meet with Yu Xi, "People are dying, and they have a lot of things in their hearts that they want to say." That day, Fa Ziying once again recalled the process of meeting with Lao Rongzhi.
According to Fa Ziying's confession that year, in 1996, he and Lao Rongzhi killed a family of three in Nanchang, and then killed two people in Wenzhou, plus Yin and Lu who were killed in Hefei, killing a total of 7 victims. On December 28, 1999, Fa Ziying was executed by firing squad.

At that bar, her new name was Sherry. On a Christmas Eve event invitation made by the bar, her personal photo was placed in the middle, and on the side was written: "Goddess Sydney".
The person in charge of the bar revealed to the Nandu reporter that Lao Rongzhi did work with some of the staff of the bar at the same time in the bar, but everyone did not know her well.

When Fa Ziying last met with Yu Xi, he gave other clues to the case.
