Han Kesheng: Twenty-four fanhua trade winds

It is said that Lichun is the beginning of spring, but in fact, spring is not the sudden arrival of Lichun on the day. The winter solstice is solar, the yin reaches the extreme, the yang begins to brew, and the spring begins to start. Du Fu's poem said, "The days and times are urged by each other, and the winter solstice and the yang are born and spring comes again." By the time of the little cold festival, the breath of spring has been felt by the hundred flowers rooted in the earth, so the flowers began to queue up to open. The season of concentrated opening of hundreds of flowers begins from the small cold and ends with the valley rain, spanning eight solar terms and twenty-four seasons. The ancients represented each candidate flower, so there were "twenty-four flower letters". "Faith" means honesty and trustworthiness. The wind that should come from the flowering period is the flower trade wind, and there is also the "twenty-four flower trade winds". The terms "flower letter" and "flower trade wind" have existed for at least a thousand years.

Flower trade winds begin in the cold, which is the coldest season of the year, and the plum blossoms that are proud of frost and snow are the first to report the information of spring. Therefore, the flower trade wind is headed by plum blossoms, and plum blossoms are therefore the first of all flowers, the head of a hundred flowers, the first of the ten famous flowers, and the name of "Flower Kui" is well deserved. The flower trade wind ends with neem flowers, but the poem says that "it has blossomed to the flowers" and "thank you for the spring rest", and the flowers are a symbol of the hundred flowers and the end of spring.

Chinese poetry is full of sweat and cattle, and poems describing flowers constitute the most vibrant part of Chinese poetry, which is both human and smokeless. Writing plum blossoms, "the shadow is shallow and shallow, the dark incense floating moon dusk", otherworldly; writing peach and plum, "grass color green willow color yellow, peach blossoms are chaotic plum blossom fragrance", the breath of spring comes to the face; writing apricot blossoms, "Xiaolou listens to the spring rain one night, the deep alley Ming Dynasty sells apricot blossoms", always reminds me of a song "selling flower girls"; write begonias, "East Wind Yuanyuan Pan Sogo, incense mist empty moon corridor", all rich and noble; write roses, "crystal curtains move the breeze, full of roses a courtyard of incense", the most beautiful farm yard; write wheat flowers, cauliflower," Plum golden apricot fat, wheat blossom snow white cauliflower thin", I yearn for the pastoral life; write pear blossoms, "pear blossom courtyard dissolved moon, willow pond light wind", hazy beauty; write peony, "only peony true national color, flowers in bloom to move the capital", domineering, sure king of flowers ... If the Hundred Flowers Psalms are compiled into a popular science book with pictures and texts, I believe it must be very flavorful.

I grew up in the mountains, grew up with flowers, and usually knew flowers first, and then memorized poems. Neem is an exception. First of all, I read the Ming Dynasty poet Yang Ji's "In the Tianping Mountains": "Drizzle is wet and wet neem flowers, and the south wind tree is ripe loquat trees." Xu Xing did not remember the depth of the mountain, all the way to the warbler cry to the home", suddenly stunned, and then according to this poem to find neem flowers, and finally met the long lilac flowers on this tall tree.
