"Female star" shines on the scene, and Hangzhou Wildlife World likes to add lion cubs

On February 11, in the nursery of Hangzhou Wildlife World Animal Kindergarten, a puma cub who was only half a month old made its debut, with slightly open eyes and a cute face.

The puma baby is born on a rainy day, when the temperature is extremely low, and the mountain lion baby is obviously difficult to adapt to the current environment. Due to the lack of experience of "lion mothers" in "taking babies", the little ones are eventually sent to animal kindergartens for artificial feeding by experienced breeders.

Now, the mountain lion baby's eyes have been slightly opened, and he is still trying to learn to stand every day. Every time he just stood up, he shook and fell, and he also thought of using his head against the incubator to maintain his balance, which was really smart and hard.

According to keeper Zhang Yan, each meal will now feed 15g of milk powder to the cougar baby, five times a day. After feeding the milk powder, the keeper will also imitate the action of the cougar mother licking the cub, wipe the body and massage the baby cougar with a wet towel, and after the massage, the little cougar will lick the hair that feels uncomfortable, and the look of licking the hair with the eyes closed is really cute. Recently, the temperature is low, and the breeders have carefully prepared oil tanks and electric blankets for heating, and the indoor air conditioning is also constant at 20 degrees throughout the day.

Does a baby puma look like a parent? It's really biological! The adult cougar has no pattern on it, while the newborn puma is full of spots, and it doesn't look like its parents. However, in the wild, these markings will form a good protective color in the jungle under the sun, which can protect the cubs from predators to some extent. As they grow up, the spots on their bodies will gradually disappear. Isn't that amazing!
