In principle, cargo vehicles without the MDS program cannot enter the venue.
"The scope of freight vehicles included in the MDS system includes all freight vehicles that need to distribute and collect goods to the Beijing Winter Olympic venues, including logistics vehicles, catering vehicles, and scrap removal vehicles." Zhang Yan told reporters that vehicles that need to enter the venue should deliver the application in advance in the MDS system and reserve the quota to enter the venue within 7 days from the next day. After the logistics business area is approved, the system will remind the non-certified users to go to the designated remote security inspection site for security inspection, and after the security inspection is passed and sealed, the crucial "fourth key" - the QR code generated by the MDS system can be obtained. After arriving at the venue, the cargo vehicle must present a QR code for the venue security personnel to scan and verify.
Since the vehicle has fully prepared the "four keys" in the early stage, when entering the public area, the staff only needs to verify the relevant documents, the cab and the vehicle, which greatly shortens the waiting time of the vehicle. Therefore, the time for each vehicle to pass through the security checkpoint is basically only about two minutes, ensuring that the goods arrive at the venues on time, in an orderly and safe manner.
