Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the meeting deeply studied and implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the opening ceremony of the seminar on the study and implementation of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China by major leading cadres at the provincial and ministerial levels, analyzed the new situation and new requirements facing earthquake prevention and disaster reduction in the new development stage, found out the shortcomings and weaknesses, highlighted contradictions and constraints, and discussed the earthquake prevention and disaster reduction strategy in the new development stage. Third, it is necessary to pool the wisdom of the masses and blaze new trails. Establish an open collaborative research mechanism and widely involve experts inside and outside the system. Fourth, we must persist in making overall arrangements and making careful arrangements. All units of the seismic system should actively participate, the development research center should do a good job in organizing and implementing, and strive to form the overall strategic thinking, major strategic layout and strategic action of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction in the next 15 years in 2 years.
