Judge Ying | a sympathetic weak

"Judge (1) Ikoi" means "Sympathy for the person in a weak standpoint and the thin person without the reason, and the feelings", and the judge is a word which says psychology represented by the government office name of Yoshitsune Minamoto (Yoshitsune Minamoto) who is the person in history, that is, "It attracts Yoshitsune Minamoto".

The literal meaning of the word is "to protect the judge", and by extension to "to express sympathy for the vulnerable or the unfortunate person, or to refer to this feeling", the judge is the official name of the Japanese historical figure Gen Yoshikei, so the word expresses a psychology similar to the "Shōgun Gen-Yoshikei".

Yoshitsune Minamoto (1159-1189) was the half-brother of Yoritomo Minamoto, who opened the Kamakura Shogunate, and his brother Yoritomo made a great success when he overthrew the Taira clan, and although he became a meritorious person of the establishment of the Kamakura shogunate, he later became angry with Yoritomo and was chased, and finally he was a self-bladed person. Yoshitsune became a subject of various plays and war memorandums as the episode at the escape with Musashibo Benkei (Musashibo Benkei) which was a subordinate of Yoshitsune's faithfulness became a famous program 'Kanjincho' (Kanjincho) of the kabuki, and people came to make even the legend "Yoshitsune became Genghis Han without dying" because it mourned the death.

Gen Yoshikei (1159–1189) was the half-brother of Genrai, the founder of the Kamakura shogunate. He was great in his brother Lai Dynasty's defeat of the Hei clan's army in the Battle of Genpei, and can be said to be a hero who founded the Kamakura shogunate, but because of his high merit, he was jealous of the Lai Dynasty and caused the problem of hunting and killing, and eventually committed suicide. The anecdotes of Yoshikei absconding with his loyal subordinate Musashiba Benkei were interpreted as Kabuki's classic play "Persuasion to Enter the Account", and Yoshikei became a popular protagonist in various artistic creations such as Japanese drama and war history, and because people cherished this hero too much, they even invented the legend that "Yoshikei did not die, and later became Genghis Khan".

This feelings "Judge", which excessively shows sympathy for the weak and losers, are considered to be peculiar feelings to the Japanese. 'Tale of the Heike' is the one that the story of the family who prospered extremely and ruined is beautifully and inseparably talked about, and oda Nobunaga (Oda nobunaga) who accomplished the death of the non-industry in the middle of the will is more popular for the person in the history than Ieyasu Tokugawa (Tokugawa Ieyasu) who established the Tokugawa shogunate. Also, at the end of the Tokugawa shogunate, the Shinsengumi, which played an active part for the perishing Tokugawa shogunate, was popular. It may be a sense of beauty that is understood to love the falling appearance of cherry blossoms to feel beauty in the perishing one.

This mood of "favoring the judge" reflects a unique Japanese sentiment, that is, excessive sympathy for the weak or the losers. For example, "The Tale of the Ping family" also describes the poignant story of the extremely glorious Ping family going to the demise. Among historical figures, the Japanese prefer Oda Nobunaga to Tokugawa Nobunaga, who founded the Tokugawa shogunate. At the end of the shogunate, the new selection of the swordsman group that helped the Tokugawa shogunate to suppress the forces of the fallen shogunate was also highly respected by the world. The beauty of sadness may be the aesthetic taste of the Japanese people who prefer the beauty of cherry blossoms.

What I associate here is a act of "Hegeo Betsuhime" of the Kyoto drama. That famous scene which drew the scene of the separation of paragraph feather and Princess Go is made to feel mourning to the one which perishes, and seems to be very similar to feelings of Japanese "Judge Iki".

This reminds me of a scene in the Peking Opera "Farewell to the Overlord". The classic parting of Xiang Yu and Yu Ji's life and death makes people feel sad that this emotional journey is about to pass, and I think this is similar to the Japanese mentality of "sympathizing with the weak".

Although the general was aware of it, he was touched by Benqing's bitterness and finally let go of the Righteous Scriptures.
