The Central Yunnan Water Diversion Project is a landmark project in 172 major water conservancy projects identified by the State Council, passing through Lijiang, Dali, Chuxiong, Kunming, Yuxi and Honghe, with a total length of 664.326 kilometers, of which 611 kilometers are water diversion tunnels, with a total construction period of 96 months. This project is the largest investment scale and the most difficult water conservancy project in the history of our province and the water diversion project currently under construction in the country.
