The "Hub Plan" emphasizes that with the theme of opening up and collaboration, we will promote the construction of hub clusters such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle. Among them, in terms of improving the external connectivity level of the hub cluster of the twin-city economic circle in the Chengdu-Chongqing area, the "Hub Plan" emphasizes that it is necessary to improve the service functions of Chongqing and Chengdu international aviation hubs, implement the quality improvement and efficiency transformation of Chengdu Shuangliu Airport, promote the rail transit construction between Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and Shuangliu International Airport, and carry out the preliminary work of Chongqing New Airport. Accelerate the improvement of the collection and transportation system of Chongqing Orchard Port and Chengdu International Railway Port, and enhance the ability to gather and radiate externally. Build a China-Europe train assembly center to improve the efficiency of supply assembly and the quality of train operation. Strengthen the organic links between Chengdu, Chongqing and other cities. At the same time, it will optimize and enhance the service functions of about 20 international comprehensive transportation hub cities, including Chengdu, expand the diversified transportation network of sea, land and air, and enhance the function of international gateways. Promote the construction of hub cities such as Panzhihua, Luzhou-Yibin, Wanzhou-Dazhou-Kaizhou, and Guangyuan, optimize the layout of hub port stations, collection and transportation systems, and connection systems, and improve cross-regional personnel exchanges and material transit organization functions.
