The investigators also found that the people living the least happily were Parisians, followed by smaller cities with a population of between 50,000 and 200,000 people. Conversely, the happiest are the French living in large cities (with a total population of more than 700,000 inhabitants) and larger cities (between 200,000 and 700,000 people).
