The book "Terminology of Sports Projects for the Winter Olympics" was recently published by the Commercial Press. The book is an important result of the "Beijing Winter Olympics Language Service Action Plan" jointly launched by the Ministry of Education, the State Language Commission and the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, and is a multilingual paper terminology manual for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, mainly providing services for interpreters, volunteers, athletes, referees, news media staff and so on for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Commercial Press, as an Olympic language service manual covering 8 languages, the "Winter Olympic Sports Terminology" contains more than 3,000 terms and nouns of the core competition projects, involving all the competition items of the Beijing Winter Olympic games and the Winter Paralympic Games, covering 8 languages of China, France, Britain, Russia, Germany, Spanish, Japanese, Korean/Korean, which is the first time in the history of the Olympic Games.

In addition, the Commercial Press has overcome many technical and professional problems such as the selection of contextual information resources, the timeliness of word selection, and the synchronous change of multilingualism, and together with the "Winter Olympic TermBase" of Beijing Language and Culture University, it has successfully realized the joint publication of paper-electric media, filling the gap in China that there is no term query platform and related books related to the Winter Olympics.
