Sha Lianshan, a craftsman in Pingyuan County, said that his favorite is figure skating, with strength and skill, and also likes curling, alpine skiing, and speed skating.
The ones in front of me are exquisite and vivid, and the Olympic athletes made with matchsticks are from the hands of the craftsman Sha Lianshan. The 38 cm diameter and 1,000 square centimeters of circular plastic foam board is the base of the Winter Olympic sand table, on which 24 rimees stand on the field, symbolizing the XXIV Winter Olympics. "The athletes were made with matches, this net was made of screens, this bobsleigh was made of straws, and there was a camera arranged for journalists to convey the broadcast scene of the Olympic Games." Grandpa Sha introduced.
In order to better show the coordination and fluency of the athletes' movements, in the production process of the sand table, Sha Lianshan deliberately used exaggerated artistic techniques. The proportions of the athlete must make his legs long and his arms short, so that he appears to be dashing.
From the design of the prototype, to the study of various shapes and then to the final production, Shalianshan shared nearly a thousand matches before and after, producing more than 60 athletes, as well as 30 sports such as ice hockey, snowmobile and sledding. In order to perfectly present the effect of competition in winter, Shalianshan deliberately let the "ice flower" hang all over the pine branches, and the layered and exquisite effect can take the elderly a lot of thought.
Grandpa Sha said that when making this rime, he first used sugar, which felt very good, but it melted after a while, and then he thought of salt, and the salt sprinkled on it was also very good, but it also melted after a while. He remembered that in the southern suburbs park, in a toy factory, where there was white sand, took back to brush, and then to this effect, white and delicate, made of fog and long-lasting and good-looking.
The 66-year-old Sha Lianshan is from the countryside, and his biggest hobby is to use waste items to make "small creations". In 2007, Sha Lianshan used 2008 zhihu to make a giant "Olympic sand table", setting a world record for the sand table with the most character models made of Olympic games with Chinese medicinal materials. The old man said that the reason for using this way is also to practice the green concept advocated by the Winter Olympics and wish the Winter Olympics a successful event.
