A few days ago, Chevrolet Auto released the official picture of the new Blazer of the American version, although it is literally translated as a pioneer, but this car and SAIC-GM Chevrolet Trailblazer are not the same thing at all, the former is smaller in size, the main five-seat layout, the design is also more fashionable and sporty.

As a mid-term makeover, the car has been adjusted in detail compared to the current Blazer, the open large-mouth front grille has been further stretched laterally, and the C-shaped chrome decoration has been added to the sides, with a sharp split LED headlight, which looks very domineering. Similarly, the new taillight cavity has also been redesigned, the complex strip texture shows the design intentions, and the visual effect after lighting is also very cool.
The official picture shows us the Blazer RS version, so we can see that the whole car is full of sports elements, not only the front grille, lower surround, rear taillights have a lot of blackening design, but also the use of two-color body (black roof) and the new style of two-color alloy wheels (up to 21 inches), so that the whole car looks more visually impactful.
For reference, the length, width and height of the current Blazer RS in the US version are 4861/1945/1702mm, and the wheelbase is 2862mm, which should be regarded as the standard of medium-sized SUVs, far less than the domestic pioneers, or seven seats.
In the interior part, the entire central control is still the classic wild style of the American SUV, and the huge circular air conditioner outlet is impressive, but the size of the central control screen has expanded to 10 inches, which not only supports more diversified multimedia interaction functions, including adaptive cruise, automatic emergency braking, follow-up distance indicator, forward collision alarm, forward person braking, with lane departure warning and other driving assistance functions have also been further upgraded.
In terms of power, the Blazer RS US version is still equipped with a 3.6L V6 self-priming engine, with a maximum power of 308 horsepower and a maximum torque of 365 Nm, which is matched by a 9AT transmission and is equipped with a four-wheel drive system. The standard version, which is relatively Buddhist, is equipped with a 2.5L L4 self-priming engine with a maximum power of 194 horsepower and a maximum torque of 255 Nm.
At present, it is not clear whether SAIC-GM plans to introduce this Chevrolet Blazer model, but from the Buick brand, Oncovi can derive two new versions of S and PLUS, and Chevrolet Explorer has made an upgraded version, and it is not difficult to directly borrow the shell of this car.
