Hebei News Network, February 10 (Hebei Daily reporter Wang Weihong) Today, the Figure Skating Men's Singles Competition at the Beijing Winter Olympics won the ninth place with a total score of 270.43 points.

In the men's singles in figure skating, athletes compete in a short program and then compete in free skating, and the two scores are added up to the final score. In the short program competition on February 8, Jin Boyang successfully completed his self-created difficulty action "Hook the hand for four weeks and then the outer point ice for three weeks" under the music of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", ranking 11th with a score of 90.98.

In the free skating competition on February 10, Jin Boyang's repertoire was selected from "Prayer and Dance" and "Bolero Dance". He appeared in a Chinese red "battle robe" and completed a number of four-week jumping actions such as hooking hands around the jump and jumping around the rear outer point ice with high quality. After the match, he raised his right fist and was thrilled, and finally scored 179.45 points. This is the second time he has created a personal season high after winning the season's highest score in the men's singles free skating at the Beijing Winter Olympics figure skating team event.

In the end, Jin Boyang finished ninth in figure skating men's singles with a total score of 270.43 points. American athlete Chen Wei won the gold medal with 332.60 points, Japanese athletes Yumasa Keyyama and Masamo Uno won silver and bronze medals respectively, and Japan's Yusei Yushin won the fourth place.

Born in October 1997, JimBo Yang became famous at a young age and won the Youth Division of the World Figure Skating Grand Prix Finals at the age of 16. In 2016 and 2017, Jin Boyang won the bronze medal at the World Championships twice, and entered the figure skating men's singles "300 point club" in 2017. In January 2018, he won the Four Continents Championship and in February he finished fourth at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, both of which set new records in the history of China's figure skating men's singles.
