Recently, MINI officially released a number of special edition models based on the five models currently on sale, including MINI three-door version, MINI CLUBMAN and MINI COUNTRYMAN (inquiry base price| check the reference) and other models. The new car has added special exclusive elements to the exterior and interior design, and new body colors will also appear on the special edition models. According to official sources, all new cars will debut at the 2022 Beijing Auto Show and officially land in the Chinese market in the first half of the year.
In terms of appearance, the MINI RESOLUTE Obsessed Special Edition basically maintains the design of the current three-door version of the model on sale. The retro green paint, previously exclusive to family racing driver MINI JOHN COOPER WORKS, was first used on the MINI Three-Door/Five-Door/CARBIO RESOLUTE Obsession Special Edition, while the new car no longer used chrome parts on the body.
The body will feature an exclusive Resolute copper design at multiple locations, with a hood pull strip and welcome pedal in a gradient combination of parallel lines, with the word "RESOLUTE" printed only on one side. On the Cooper S engine version of the Special Edition model, the grille inner frame, intake grille blades, MINI branding and exhaust tailpipe trim are all designed in piano black. In addition, the MINI three-door/five-door ESSENCE Obsessed Special Edition also has black stripes around the lower edge of the window.
In terms of interior, the sports seats of the new car will use 100% renewable materials. In addition, MINI Yours' relaxed leather-carbon black option is available, which gives the seats more eye-catching stitching and piping, and the British rice flag perforation design on the headrest. Nappa sports leather steering wheels on the lower spokes are printed with the words "RESOLUTE" of the special edition model, further highlighting the unique characteristics of the model. The new car's dashboard is evenly distributed with pale gold pinstripes that echo the outer hood pull stripes.
It is reported that MINI will launch the MINI RESOLUTE Obsession Special Edition based on the MINI COOPER three-door edition, MINI COOPER S three-door edition, MINI COOPER five-door edition, MINI COOPER S five-door edition and MINI COOPER S CARBIO.
MINI CLUBMAN UNTOLD FREE SPECIAL EDITIONIn terms of appearance, the previous exclusive MINI COUNTRYMAN's Eucalyptus paint was applied to the MINI CLUBMAN UNTOLD Free Special Edition for the first time, and the JOHN COOPER WORKS Aerodynamic Kit provides a sleek, modern and dynamic look for the model. It is worth noting that the upper bracket of the new car wheel adopts the Eucalyptus cyan design for the first time, replacing the traditional black encirclement and showing a more graded feeling. Five slender, dynamic stripes run from the hood to the roof, and the 3D printed side suspension windows present a unique embossed stripe pattern that also appears on the driver's side welcome lights and welcome pedals outside the car.
MINI CLUBMAN UNTOLD SPECIAL EDITION features Untold's exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels that feature a pitch-black/delicate brass duo-tone finish. The new car features a piano black design on the door handles, exhaust tailpipes, MINI logo, and model name lettering.
In terms of interior, the new car is equipped with MINI Yours leisure leather-Eucalyptus green sports seats, and the eucalyptus green glow stripe complements the exclusive green embossed stripe pattern interior. In addition, the air outlet of the new car is also designed with brass trim, which is harmoniously unified with the overall interior style, and the Nappa sports leather steering wheel bottom spokes and floor mats are printed with the unique badge of the special edition model.
MINI CLUBMAN UNTOLD FREE Special Edition will be available in two versions, MINI COOPER CLUBMAN and MINI COOPER S CLUBMAN.
MINI COUNTRYMAN UNTAMED UNINTREE SPECIAL EDITIONIn terms of appearance, the new car will be equipped with exclusive dynamic grey car paint, including the lower air intake around the bottom guard, the front skirt side air intake inserts, and the side and bottom inserts of the side skirt and rear skirt, all of which are painted with dynamic gray. Meanwhile, the new car will feature four twill body stickers at the bottom of the doors in an icy blue stone color scheme, and the wheels will feature exclusive 18-inch Untamed cutout lightweight wheels. Like the two special edition models above, the new car features a high-gloss piano black design in the intake grille, side portholes, door handles, exhaust tailpipe trim, the word "Untamed", the roof rack and the front and rear headlight outer rings, which makes the appearance of the model more rigid.
Interior-wise, the new car features a special edition logo inspired by mountain landscapes and UNTAMED on the side portholes and welcome pedals, which also appear on the rear side windows of the C-pillar. In addition, the ice blue stone interior strip is also printed with mountain landscape patterns. The 'Untamed' emblem is printed on the side of the seat and on the bottom spokes of Nappa's sport leather steering wheel, and the 3D embossed mountain landscape pattern on the foot cushions echoes the welcome pedals and interior strips, bringing out the natural atmosphere.
