Establish a sense of safe gas use, abide by the rules of safe gas use, use qualified gas burning appliances and cylinders, timely replace gas burning appliances and connecting pipes that have been eliminated by the state or have expired their service life, protect gas pipelines and related facilities, and prevent gas accidents, which is the legal responsibility and obligation that each of our gas users should bear.
According to statistical analysis, 90% of gas explosion accidents are caused by weak safety awareness and improper use of gas users, or gas leaks caused by the destruction of gas facilities such as valves, hoses, stoves and gas pipelines, or the quality of gas appliances. Gas deflagration accidents occur from time to time, causing huge property losses and personal injuries to society and families. For the happiness of the family and the stability of the society, we ask you to keep in mind the following knowledge of gas use:
First, the use of gas should be ventilated. When using gas, be sure to open windows to keep air circulating and beware of non-occupational carbon monoxide poisoning. Gas water heaters cannot be installed in toilets, bathrooms, dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms, and should be installed in the ventilation of the outer wall of the toilet. Priority is given to the use of strong exhaust, balanced gas water heaters, must be standardized installation of smoke exhaust pipes, smoke exhaust pipes out of the outdoor, strictly prohibit the use of inline gas water heaters.
To do people away from the fire, after use, close the stove switch, close the gas valve, close the kitchen door, open the kitchen window, to prevent accidental gas leakage caused by accidents. It is recommended to install a gas alarm with a cut-off function or a timed shut-off valve in the kitchen.
Second, replace the gas appliance regularly and use metal bellows. The service life of gas appliances is 6-8 years (determined according to different gas types, see the product manual for details), over-age use may lead to component function failure or air leakage, explosion, deflagration, bursting, poisoning and other safety accidents, should pay attention to the scrap time of household gas appliances, replace on time. It is strictly forbidden to use expired or scrapped gas appliances, and gas appliances with automatic flameout protection devices that meet national standards should be purchased. According to the requirements of the "Gas Engineering Project Specification" (GB55009-2021), the service life of the gas connecting hose should not be lower than the scrap life of the combustion appliance, the rubber hose has been unable to meet the specification standards, it is recommended to use a safer and life of up to 8 years of gas special metal bellows. The gas hose must be connected by a clip fastening at both ends. In daily life, you can use soap and water to check the leak method, regularly check the gas pipeline and interface, if there is bubbling, it is a leak point, and it is strictly forbidden to use an open flame to check the leak.
Third, the use of cylinders should be correct. It is not allowed to lie down, hit, heat or expose liquefied gas cylinders; it is not allowed to dump the residual liquid of liquefied gas cylinders without permission; and it is not allowed to use liquefied gas in basements or semi-basements. Household liquefied gas cylinders are designed for a service life of 8 years and must be tested every 4 years; the service life of cylinder pressure reducing valves is 5 years; and expired or scrapped gas facilities are strictly prohibited.
Fourth, gas facilities should be installed openly. Gas pipelines and related facilities should be clearly set up, and ropes and hanging debris shall not be hung on the gas pipes, and the wires shall not be wrapped around the gas pipelines, so as not to damage the pipeline facilities and cause gas leakage. Gas facilities and equipment shall not be wrapped or sealed; plastic bags, paper bags and other flammable items shall not be placed next to the gas stove; candles, lighters and other fire appliances shall be properly put away to avoid causing fires.
V. Facilities such as gas pipelines shall not be dismantled, altered, or relocated without authorization。 Gas pipelines, valves and meters shall not be dismantled, installed, moved or encapsulated without authorization; where indoor gas facilities need to be modified, gas supply enterprises shall be entrusted to carry out operations, and professionals shall be responsible for construction。 Bottled gas users are not allowed to disassemble the cylinder angle valve without permission.
Sixth, the way of purchasing gas should be formal. Buy gas through formal channels and ask for bills. Please do not buy cheap "black gas", so as not to lose a small loss, due to the use of unqualified products caused by serious consequences.
Seventh, should cooperate with gas supply enterprises in accordance with the law to enter the household safety inspection。 Gas supply enterprises should actively cooperate with household security inspections to find and eliminate potential safety hazards in time; when encountering normal inspections of no one at home, please take the initiative to contact gas supply enterprises to make another appointment for inspection.
Eighth, when a gas leakage occurs in the home, the following points should be paid attention to: first, immediately close the gas valve and cut off the gas source; second, open the door and window for ventilation; third, quickly evacuate personnel; fourth, go outdoors to call the gas company to report repairs or alarms. It is important to remember that in the place of gas leakage, all sources of fire are prohibited, and it is forbidden to use telephones, open and close electrical switches, open exhaust fans, use remote controls and other electronic devices.
