Wouldn't it be nice for you to give up your military power, go to the place, buy more good land and beautiful houses, and establish a long-term inheritance for your children and grandchildren; at the same time, buy more singers, drink and rejoice day and night, and spend all your days and years together; and marry you again, and between the monarchs and courtiers, there is no suspicion between the two, and the upper and lower levels are at peace. ”
At this time, Song Taizu was in control of the Central Forbidden Army, and the generals understood that there was no other way to go, and they all bowed their heads to Xie En. The next day, Shi Shouxin and other generals claimed to need to recover from illness and relieve the military power, and Song Taizu readily agreed.
In this way, Song Taizu's wrists are superb, and between the conversations and laughter, he forces the generals to remove military power, highly unify the imperial power, and eliminate hidden dangers for the stability of the country.
But this is a game between kings and subjects, and the generals give up their military power in exchange for glory and wealth, and can even blatantly accumulate money and exercise corrupt power, resulting in corruption in internal affairs.
