The Mirror: United are confident of signing Leicester City midfielder Tielemans for £40 million

According to the British "Mirror" report, Manchester United are confident of signing Leicester City midfielder Tillemans this summer for a transfer fee of 40 million pounds.

United want to sign a world-class midfielder before the start of next season, and they signed Ronaldo back last summer and signed Sancho for £73 million.

With Manchester United's new CEO Richard Arnold currently aiming to sign a top midfielder, United have been keeping an eye on Rice and Phillips.

United fear Rice is too expensive, with West Ham valuing it at more than £100 million. Leeds United want to renew his contract with Phillips, and the players have made it clear that they do not want to join Manchester United.

United are now turning their attention to Leicester City midfielder Tillemans, whose contract with the Blue Foxes expires in 2023 and Leicester City may sell him for funding.

It is reported that Tillemans is also a target for Juve, the players want to participate in the Champions League, and know that staying in Leicester City will be difficult to achieve this goal.

Thiramans, a 24-year-old Belgian midfielder, has played 26 games for the team this season, contributing six goals and three assists.
