This is normal. After all, the reason why the boss can be the boss is at least to have superiority in ability, so as to calm the little brother or little sister below. Even if they are brothers, if they are all martial artists, the boss should theoretically be the strongest, only in this way can they take good care of their younger brothers and sisters.
There are exceptions, however. Jin Yong has a strange combination in his pen, a total of three people. In fact, these three people are brothers and sisters, but the boss's martial arts are the lowest. And the martial arts of the second and third elders can be regarded as the top masters of the jianghu.
In fact, there are very few three brothers in Jin Yong's pen, and even fewer brothers and sisters are involved. Maybe there is only one, that is, the three brothers and sisters of the Qiu clan - Qiu Qianzhang, Qiu Qianzhang, Qiu Qianshi.
Qiu Qianling's fame is the greatest, and his martial arts are also the strongest. How strong is it? In the Double Eagle Era, the wulin ceiling was one of the five absolutes, and although Qiu Qianling was not one of the five absolutes, he was also invited to the Huashan Sword, so he could also be regarded as a quasi-five absolute figure. There was no explanation in the archery for the reason why Qiu Qianzhang's strength was so poor, and it could only be said that this person was born a scoundrel, relying on his brother to eat in the rivers and lakes. The 83rd edition of the Shooting Eagle TV series has even been modified, setting Qiu Qianling as an older brother and Qiu Qianzhang as a younger brother. Perhaps the screenwriters also feel that Qiu Qianzhang really has no brother-like and cannot support his brother's responsibility and ability, so it is better to let him be a younger brother.
However, the new version of the shooting eagle TV series did seize this detail, and the screenwriter explained the reason why Qiu Qianzhang's strength was so weak. It turned out that the older brother had ceded all the resources to the younger brother, so he achieved the latter's prestige in the jianghu. In this version of the TV series, Qiu Qianzhang was finally washed white.
