SAIC Volkswagen today announced the official map of the new Langyi model, and it is reported that the new car is expected to be listed at this year's Beijing Auto Show. As a mid-term redesign, the new Langyi adopts a "double front face" design, launching two options of new starry sky shape and ordinary shape respectively, providing users with more personalized choices.

In terms of appearance, the new Langyi adopts the design of "double front face", the main difference between the two designs is that the design in the net is different, of which the starry sky version is more radical, not using the traditional horizontal chrome decoration of the Volkswagen family, but using star diamond elements to embellish, highlighting a stronger sense of luxury. In addition, the intake part under the front face of the Starry Sky Edition is honeycomb-shaped, and its design and starry front face echo a stronger sporty atmosphere.

On the side of the body, the new model continues the design of the model on sale, and its waist line runs through the front and back of the body, and creates a sense of three-dimensionality and strength through the folding line under the door. At the same time, for the two front face designs, two different rim shapes are also provided to match, which is more in line with the overall sense of its design. As for the rear of the vehicle, the new model has been redesigned for the details of the tail, and it adopts a new blackened LED stereo taillight shape, which echoes the headlight group shape. At the same time, the more sporty starry sky version is also equipped with small black tail wings in the rear part of the car, while also adopting blackened rearview mirrors and high-black light texture roof.
In terms of interior, the new Langyi has also made some changes, such as changing the central control screen from embedded to the latest suspension design, and also equipped with a newly designed three-frame multi-functional steering wheel, and the overall sense of science and technology has been improved. In addition, the horizontal two-color trim panels that run through the left and right on the central control are chrome-plated decorations at the air conditioning outlet, instrument panel, door panel, etc.
In terms of power, according to the previous declaration information, the new Langyi will be equipped with a 1.2T turbocharged (four-cylinder) gasoline engine, with a maximum output of 116 horsepower. The transmission part, referring to the current 1.2T model, matches a 7-speed dry dual-clutch transmission.
