Revert officially assumed the role of CEO of the club on 1 July 2021 and then participated in the club's strategic plan for 2021-2026, contributing to the club's debt restructuring, player salary cuts, and negotiations for new club partners.
Revert issued a statement: "It has been almost a year since I left Germany for family reasons and returned to Barcelona, shortly before I accepted an offer from the president of the club, Laporta, to become the club's CEO. This period of time in office has been a passionate few months, and I thank the President for his trust and, more importantly, for his passion and leadership, which means that Barça has a first-class management team that can position Barça at the forefront of the world.
