The opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics is more like a puzzle that attracts much attention, locking everyone's attention early. The team of 3,000 people who performed the opening performance on the day of Lichun, together with the general director Zhang Yimou, fully demonstrated the image of China, a big country in peaceful development. The overall spirit is sunny and enterprising, the literary and artistic mind of the hundred rivers is both humble and atmospheric, the emotional expression between the ups and downs is abundant and powerful, and the opening ceremony of this stunning Winter Olympic Games presents a high-tech romantic aesthetic that burns for the country on the one hand, and also projects a high-minded and far-reaching future realm on the other hand.
Starting from the Taoist nature, it dances in poetry
The opening ceremony of the 2022 Winter Olympics and the opening ceremony of the 2008 Summer Olympics highlighted China's Taoist and Confucian ideas, respectively. In an interview with the media, director Zhang Yimou explained in depth the core concept that ran through the opening ceremony. Echoing the green grass at the beginning, in the important national flag relay link, the nameless masses representing all ethnic groups across the country gathered like a relay team. Their occupations vary and their costumes are colorful.
