Roma Zaniolo, or suspended two games, Italian legend Vialli, called to comfort Zaniolo

Zaniolo scored an important goal in the final stages of the match against Genoa. But after being canceled by the referee, Zaniolo protested to the referee and received a red card.

After the match, Roma boss Jose Mourinho and the club management expressed their support to the players.

Italian legend Gianluca Vialli also called the Roma star to offer comfort and support. As a member of the Italian coaching team, Gianluca Vialli assured Zaniolo that the players would secure important positions in Italy's World Cup qualifiers.

Because Zaniolo was too agitated and protested too fiercely to the referee after the referee cancelled his goal, the player risked being suspended for two games instead of the usual one.

This season, Zaniolo has ranked second in Serie A for the number of dribble breaks, just less than AC Milan striker Rafael Leo. But there are few foul decisions in favor of Zagnolo. Zaniolo, by contrast, received two red and eight yellow cards.

To that end, Roma recently hired a former referee as an advisor to deal with these issues.
