
Former WBC lightweight champion Ryan Garcia's return is finally set, with him facing Emmanuel Tagoe from the African Republic of Ghana on April 9 for a twelve-legged showdown.
Ryan Garcia (21-0, 18 KO) is 23 years old and has a height of 178cm with an arm span of 178cm. He began his professional boxing career in 2016 and just won the WBC Lightweight Provisional Championship Gold Belt in the seventh round last January. Garcia was due to play Javier Fortuna in July, but unfortunately Garcia suffered from depression and announced his retirement.
Emmanuel Tagoi (32-1, 15 KO) is 33 years old and 173cm tall. He began his professional boxing career in 2004, losing his first match to the TKO in the fifth round and keeping a 32-game winning streak ever since. He has won the WBA International Championship in 2012 and the WBF and WBO Lightweight International titles in 2019, most recently in a ten-legged match points victory over Mason Menard in The United States in November 2020.
