Because of his dedication to Chinese painting and calligraphy, as early as 1987, he purchased a book written by Feng Zengmu, "A Brief Introduction to The Framed Calligraphy and Painting", which is three-point painting and seven-point mounting, and mounting plays an important role in the display and collection of calligraphy and painting.
Before this, the mounting industry was based on the master with the apprentice's oral teaching model, which seriously hindered the development of the mounting industry, this book "Calligraphy and Painting Mounting Shallow Theory", at that time cultivated a large number of mounting talents, many laid-off workers, unemployed young people rely on this book, embarked on the road of entrepreneurship, and made a fortune, the social effect is strong.
In 2005, I had the honor to know Teacher Feng Zengmu, when Teacher Feng just retired, we lived in the same community, after many contacts and exchanges, gradually became familiar with it, and implored Teacher Feng to sign the book "Calligraphy and Painting Mounting Shallow Sayings", which learned that the illustrations of the book were all hand-painted by Teacher Feng himself, and the heart of awe rose leisurely, and worshiped Teacher Feng Zengmu as a teacher to learn the art of Chinese painting and painting, and Teacher Feng also gave away two books of calligraphy and painting framed monographs and painting books.
Mr. Feng Zengmu's calligraphy and painting mounting process has long been unique and famous in the chinese calligraphy and painting mounting industry. Famous calligraphers and painters in Jinan and the whole country, and the big collectors are all guests and close friends in Teacher Feng's home.
The book "Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Mounting", which condenses Feng Zengmu's achievements in the research of calligraphy and painting mounting technology, has been updated many times since its inception in 1987, and the printing volume has reached nearly 200,000 copies.
In 2008, at the invitation of the publishing house, Mr. Feng Zengmu made another major revision, and the whole book has a new look and enriches a lot of new content, which is a rare collection of professional tools in the framing industry. And successively published the book "Illustration of Practical Calligraphy and Painting Mounting Style", which was published and distributed by Shandong Fine Arts Publishing House, filling a gap in the framing of Chinese painting and calligraphy.
After retirement, Feng Zengmu's Chinese painting art was as handsome as a god, and the reputation of mounting craftsmanship seemed to have been covered up by the art of painting. Teacher Feng Zengmu's contribution to the calligraphy and painting mounting industry is obvious to all and will forever be recorded in the annals of history.
