Murray: Jokic slashed 47 points to blast Gobert, who shouted back to his teammates , " I can defend "

Joel Rush shared a video of an interview with Nuggets player Jamal Murray, in which Murray shared an interesting story about Jokic.

"There was a game we played at home to the Jazz, and Jokic scored 47 points on Gobert's head, and the score was pretty sticky." Murray said, "In the final moments of the game, jokic took the ball low and the Jazz tried to double-pack him, at which point Gobert shouted at the assistant teammate: 'It's all right, no bag, I can defend him, I can defend him!'" Jokic turned the ball back to Gobert and said, 'Big brother ~ I've already scored 47 points ~ (really not?) )’”

According to Murray's clues, the game was the regular season on February 1, 2021, when the Nuggets defeated the Jazz 128-117 at home. In that game, Jokic played 37 minutes and 20 seconds, 17 of 26 shooting, 4 of 4 three-pointers, 9 of 10 free throws, 47 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 1 block, and Gobert, who was in position with him, played 25 minutes and 30 seconds, 4 of 7 shots, 4 of 8 free throws, and had 12 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block.
