TA: Manchester United have negotiated a training uniform sponsorship agreement for more than £20 million a year

According to The Athletic news, Manchester United and blockchain platform Tezos negotiated a sponsorship agreement for training clothes, with an annual sponsorship amount of more than 20 million pounds.

Manchester United's previous training clothes sponsor was Aon Insurance, and the eight-year, £120 million sponsorship contract signed by the two sides expired at the end of last season, and the team did not have a sponsorship contract for training clothes this season.

After Aon's contract expired, Manchester United negotiated with several other companies, including several blockchain companies, including Tezos. Despite some controversy over the blockchain, United has been investigating before reaching an agreement, believing that partner Tezos is credible, with sponsorship contracts signed by the two sides exceeding £20 million a year, and Manchester United has reportedly filmed the relevant promotional material at the training base.

This sponsorship contract has convinced Manchester United that although affected by the epidemic and the performance of the team, the club's commercial appeal to partners is still very strong, and they have always believed that signing Ronaldo from Juve will help increase commercial revenue. It is also believed that the deal could involve cooperation beyond Manchester United's training suits and help improve the club's ability at the technical level.
