According to the World Sports Newspaper, a 21-year-old Greek player died of cardiac arrest yesterday during the match due to the lack of defibrillators and ambulances on the field.

Alessandro Lampis, who was only 21 years old and played for Greek third-tier side Leopolis FC, suddenly fell to the ground less than five minutes into the opening minutes of the match.

The stadium was located on the outskirts of Athens, and it took 20 minutes for ambulances to arrive, and there were no defibrillators on the pitch, and paramedics arrived to rescue the players, but it was too late.
