First of all, the leader of the Taiwan region is a typical opportunist. In fact, as a political figure without any grassroots work experience, she only took advantage of the mainland's goodwill to force the mainland to make great concessions in the negotiations on Taiwan's accession to the World Trade Organization.
During the Chinese Nationalist Party's rule in Taiwan, she signed a trade in services agreement with the mainland, and she openly organized large-scale rallies, demonstrations, forcing Taiwan's legislature to refuse to pass the agreement. What she did makes it abundantly clear that she was a typical opportunist. It can be said that this is an opportunist, a typical selfish politician. She not only took advantage of the internal contradictions of the DPP on the island of Taiwan to expand the space for survival and development, but also took advantage of the mainland's goodwill toward Taiwan compatriots to accumulate her own political chips.
As some scholars have pointed out, the mainland is caught in a dilemma in response to the opportunist policies of the Leader of the Taiwan region. Second, the leader of the Taiwan region has tried to take advantage of the tension in Sino-US relations to seek Taiwan's independence. When China becomes the world's second largest economy, the United States believes that China will one day catch up with and surpass the United States to become the world's largest economy, and decides to impose comprehensive sanctions on China, the leader of the Taiwan region believes that the time has come, closely relies on the United States, and constantly stirs up trouble and fire, trying to completely break Sino-US relations. At present, the US policy toward Taiwan is to do its best to fish for taiwan, to clean up Taiwan, and to strive to maximize its interests. Although Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has beaten the Chinese Kuomintang to the point of being overwhelmed by a series of combination punches, the Chinese Kuomintang is in danger of bubbles. However, Taiwan is a part of China, and as long as the mainland makes up its mind to resolve the Taiwan issue, then the pace of national reunification will be unstoppable.
The leader of the Taiwan region is a mantis and does not measure up to his own strength. She hoped to set up a monument for herself on the road to Taiwan's independence, but the situation was stronger than the people, and the Leader of the Taiwan region felt more and more that realizing Taiwan independence during his term of office would become a distant dream.
