The left half of the stamp is the emblem of the United Nations, and the right half of the stamp is a "Tiger Sniffing Roses" image created by Chinese designer Pan Hu, depicting a fierce tiger wandering in a rose bush.

The Year of the Tiger stamp issued in Hungary was designed by graphic artist Shoyko-Bertaę Agnezh. Each sheetlet is made up of 2 stamps, presenting a pair of soaring tigers connected from end to end.

The stamps are colored in red and yellow, with red symbolizing happiness and contentment and yellow symbolizing prosperity and abundance. The design draws on the composition of Tai Chi in Chinese culture, while also giving the pattern a dynamic beauty.

New Zealand's Year of the Tiger stamps are presented in bright red and green monochrome, depicting Fuwa and tigers, with elements such as yuanbao, lanterns and firecrackers, a strong Chinese New Year painting style. This is the second time that Chinese designer Xu Bingmin has integrated Chinese New Year painting dolls into the design of Zodiac stamps.

There are two commemorative stamps of the Year of the Tiger issued by the French Postal Company, designed by French Chinese artist Chen Jianghong. One of the tickets is a majestic sitting tiger on a red background, symbolizing strength; the other is a tiger standing in the distance on a blue background, symbolizing hope. Both stamps have the words "Year of the Tiger" in French and Chinese on their faces.

The Belarusian Year of the Tiger stamp has a tiger motif in the center of the face, and the words "Tiger" and "Year of the Tiger" in Belarus have Chinese in the lower right.

This is the third consecutive year that Belarus has issued a Chinese lunar zodiac stamp. The number of stamps issued is 36,000.
